中國當(dāng)代版畫大展旨在集中展現(xiàn)我國當(dāng)代版畫的優(yōu)秀作品。在綜述中國當(dāng)代版畫的現(xiàn)狀，並將中國當(dāng)代版畫置於藝術(shù)發(fā)展史和國際當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的大背景下，從時(shí)間和空間兩個(gè)向度對(duì)中國當(dāng)代版畫進(jìn)行了學(xué)術(shù)性和實(shí)驗(yàn)性的探討。選擇視角注重具有當(dāng)代性和創(chuàng)新性的作品，特別突出本土當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的存在價(jià)值，對(duì)於當(dāng)代版畫藝術(shù)的前景有極強(qiáng)的指向性和預(yù)見性。中國版畫家對(duì)版畫的當(dāng)代性發(fā)展始終保持著積極的探索熱忱?；I辦這次學(xué)術(shù)性和實(shí)驗(yàn)性並重的展覽，就是尊重近年來有關(guān)當(dāng)代版畫實(shí)踐的成果和經(jīng)驗(yàn)，秉持原創(chuàng)與創(chuàng)新的態(tài)度，通過創(chuàng)作、研討和展出，以期引領(lǐng)中國當(dāng)代版畫的發(fā)展。

The Chinese Contemporary Printmaking Exhibition aims to show the outstanding works of contemporary printmaking. Against the background of art history development and international contemporary art, we discuss Chinese Contemporary Printmaking academically and experimentally from two dimensions of time and space. This exhibition emphasises more

contemporary and innovative works, in particularly, to highlight the value of local contemporary art. These have a very strong predictive indication of the future direction of contemporary art.

Chinese print artists always maintained an active enthusiasm in exploring the development of print making. Today Art Museum respects art achievements and experience related to contemporary printing practice.We are holding this exhibition which is both academic and experimental following that principle of originality and innovation. We are organizing it with a view to leading the development of contemporary Chinese printmaking through creation, study and display.
