瑪吉畫廊（馬德里）榮幸地向您宣佈，金石將於6月18日在本畫廊舉辦藝術(shù)家的首次個(gè)展。此次展覽名為“不現(xiàn)實(shí)的現(xiàn)實(shí)”，展覽將一直持續(xù)到7月31日。個(gè)展將全面展示金石近年來(lái)創(chuàng)作的關(guān)於中國(guó)底層社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)生活狀態(tài)的裝置與攝影作品。

在“不現(xiàn)實(shí)的現(xiàn)實(shí)”中，“現(xiàn)實(shí)”不再是明白無(wú)誤的東西，而是一種需要被定義、被形容的狀態(tài)。也就是説作為名詞的“現(xiàn)實(shí)”其實(shí)什麼也沒(méi)説，它指涉了我們眼前的、當(dāng)下的、可以直接經(jīng)驗(yàn)到的狀態(tài)。現(xiàn)實(shí)只能是在一種前話語(yǔ)的狀態(tài)下才具有現(xiàn)實(shí)的實(shí)在性，或者説，現(xiàn)實(shí)作為一種實(shí)在狀況，具有對(duì)定義的抗藥性。而“不現(xiàn)實(shí)的現(xiàn)實(shí)”這種修辭，其潛在的含義是，作為實(shí)在的現(xiàn)實(shí)正在偏離關(guān)於現(xiàn)實(shí)的話語(yǔ)，或者説，現(xiàn)實(shí)的“標(biāo)準(zhǔn)”狀態(tài)。

金石1976年生於中國(guó)河南，畢業(yè)于中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院雕塑係，現(xiàn)生活、工作于杭州。2008年在上海美術(shù)館舉行的第七屆上海雙年展上，一件名為《1/2生活》裝置作品使金石受到廣泛的關(guān)注。金石的這件作品按比例縮微手工復(fù)原了一間中國(guó)底層社會(huì)居民的居所，正如金石所言，他通過(guò)對(duì)細(xì)節(jié)的偏好得以讓觀眾捕捉到了“一種肖像的意味”，而本次個(gè)展就是這一紀(jì)實(shí)風(fēng)格的繼續(xù)與拓展，《1/2生活》將與《營(yíng)?生》、《三輪車》系列等裝置作品一同向我們展示金石所發(fā)現(xiàn)的中國(guó)底層社會(huì)現(xiàn)實(shí)的方方面面，以及深埋其中的世俗活力與幽默情緒。更重要的是，這些作品不只體現(xiàn)出藝術(shù)家本人對(duì)於邊緣生活的人性關(guān)懷，它們還激發(fā)出潛于觀眾內(nèi)心的對(duì)於存在感的普遍尋求。

Magee Art Gallery (Madrid) is honored to announce that it will hold the first solo exhibition of artist Jin Shi. This exhibition is named “Unrealistic Reality” and will be shown until 31st July. The solo exhibition will show comprehensively Jin Shi’s recent installation and photography works about the real living status of Chinese bottom society.

In “Unrealistic Reality”, “reality” is not a definite thing, but a kind of status that needs to be defined and described. In other words, as a noun, “reality” doesn’t speak out anything; it refers to our current status that can be directly experienced. Only in a pre-parlance status, can reality possess actuality. In other words, as an actual status, reality is immune to definition. The substantial meaning of “Unrealistic Reality” is that as actuality, reality is deviating from the parlance about reality or the “standard” status of reality.

Jin Shi was born in Henan Province. He graduated from the Department of Sculpture, China Academy of Fine Arts. Now he lives and works in Hangzhou In 2008, in the 7th Shanghai Biennial held in Shanghai Art Museum, an installation work named “1/2 Life” has made Jin Shi gain much attention. Some houses of the bottom society inhabitants are proportionally reduced and reproduced in this work. Just as Jin Shi said, through his favor of details, he was able to make the audience catch “a sense of portrait”. This solo exhibition is exactly the continuation and development of this documentary style. “1/2 Life”, “Make a Living”, “Tricycle” series , together with other installation works, will show us different aspects of a real Chinese bottom society in Jin Shi’s eyes, as well as the earthly vigor and humorous emotion buried deep inside it. More importantly, these works not only show the artist’s humanistic care for life on boarders, but also provoke the mutual yearning for the sense of existence hidden in the audience’s heart.
